COBURG UNITED HAS FINALLY FOUND THE KEY TO OPEN THE GATES TO THE PATH OF CHAMPIONSHIP SUCCESS….

After a home game against Langwarrin on Saturday night Coburg United managed to dominate both halves of the game to achieve a tremendous 3 point victory. This was especially evident in the last 25 minutes of the first half and the last half an hour of the second half whereby Coburg United took complete control of the game and left their opponents to surrender to their game strategy.
Now let’s move on to players critique…
I believe the star of this match was Peter as his set up and cross to Serkan was flawless and assisted Serkan in kicking his first successful goal.
In the 89th minute of the match Peter was able to score a brilliant last goal which lead him to deserve the title of “the man of the match”.
Ahmet Gurpinar was extremely efficient with his work in the defense block and took necessary action to cover both air and ground attacks from his opponents.
Alex was exceptional in covering the front midfield and managed to position Serkan and Nick with his passes. He was also the first to return all headers successfully.
Serkan was again successful in completing his duty by kicking yet another goal in this game.
In conclusion I would to make a few comments about the team coach Jo Montemunro…
At the training session on Thursday evening Jo sat his players down and created a game plan for Saturday’s game based on his expertise and knowledge. I witnessed that his strategy was adopted impeccably well by the Coburg United players which lead to the 2 – 0 victory over Langwarrin.
